PlaidCloud is now fully operational again. The outage was initially caused by an issue related to too many connections to the central data store. As a corrective action we attempted to fail-over the system to the hot stand-by but the failover was unable to communicate with all the nodes in the cluster and therefore failed to start receiving traffic.

We have corrected the issue at this point and are reviewing/updating internal policies around how nodes in the data cluster communicate to ensure this never happens again.
