What's New in PlaidCloud: August 2026

Here is a quick look at what shipped in PlaidCloud this month. The full changelog is in the August 2026 release notes; the highlights are below.

Highlights

  • External lakehouses. Projects can now use your own Snowflake or Databricks lakehouse as their data backend, so PlaidCloud modeling runs directly on the warehouse you already own.
  • Native ERP connections. Direct integrations with NetSuite, Acumatica, Business Central, Dynamics 365, Oracle Fusion, Workday, Sage Intacct, and SAP S/4HANA Cloud; no middleware required to pull your ERP data into a model.
  • Free viewer seats. Invite unlimited read-only teammates to dashboards and reports without consuming builder seats, so the whole team can see the numbers.
  • Workflow containers and resume. Group related steps into containers with container-level conditions and targeted reruns, and resume a failed workflow from the failing step instead of rerunning completed work.
  • HTML email reports. Template-based rich HTML emails with tables, formatting, and a live preview, so scheduled results land in inboxes looking like reports, not plain text.
  • Oracle Essbase live queries. Execute MDX queries against Essbase 21c and Analytics Cloud cubes directly from workflows.
  • Hosted Plotly Dash apps. Deploy Dash applications straight from PlaidCloud Git with autoscaling and single sign-on built in.
  • Guided first run. New workspaces start with sample projects across retail, marketing, supply chain, and finance, plus one-click password setup for invited members.
