SMS Privacy Policy
How PlaidCloud handles mobile phone numbers and consent records for workflow text alerts.

This SMS Privacy Policy explains how PlaidCloud, Inc. (“PlaidCloud,” “we,” “us”) handles information collected for the PlaidCloud workflow text alert program. It supplements our general Privacy Policy and should be read with the SMS Terms.
Information we collect
- Your U.S. mobile phone number, when you enter it in the Text alerts dialog in PlaidCloud.
- Consent records: the time you opted in, the version of the consent text you agreed to, your PlaidCloud account identifier and email address, and whether and when you opted out.
- Message delivery records: the content of alerts we send you, their delivery status, and related workflow identifiers. Message content is removed once delivery is final, and delivery records are deleted after 90 days.
How we use it
We use this information only to send you the workflow text alerts you opted in to, to verify your phone number with a confirmation code, to honor opt-outs, to email you an alert if a text cannot be delivered, to prevent abuse, and to keep records of your consent as required by law.
Sharing
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Opt-in data and consent records are not shared with third parties or affiliates for any such purpose.
We share mobile information only with the service providers that deliver text messages on our behalf, such as our messaging provider and the mobile carriers, solely to deliver and verify messages, and where required by law. These providers may not use your information for their own marketing. Your number is never disclosed to other PlaidCloud customers or to other users of your organization beyond the masked number shown in account administration.
Your choices
Reply STOP to any text, or select Stop text alerts in the Text alerts dialog, to opt out at any time. Opting out does not affect your PlaidCloud account. To ask about or request deletion of your information, email support@plaidcloud.com. We retain a record of your opt-out so that we continue to honor it.
Security
Phone numbers and consent records are stored in PlaidCloud’s control plane and protected with the same safeguards described in our Privacy Policy and Security notice. Text messages themselves are not sent over a secure channel, so do not include sensitive personal data in alerts.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time and will post the updated version here with a new date.
