Terms for PlaidCloud workflow text alerts: how to opt in, what messages you receive, and how to stop.

These SMS Terms apply to the PlaidCloud workflow text alert program (the “Program”) operated by PlaidCloud, Inc. (“PlaidCloud,” “we,” “us”). They supplement our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Our handling of mobile information is described in the SMS Privacy Policy.
Program name and purpose
The Program is called PlaidCloud Workflow Alerts. It sends text messages to PlaidCloud users about the status of PlaidCloud workflows that they or their organization have configured to send text alerts, such as a workflow failing or completing, and the text of the alert written by the workflow’s author.
Messages are operational alerts only. We do not send marketing or promotional messages through the Program, and workflow authors may not use text alerts for marketing, advertising, or promotional content.
How you opt in
Text alerts are sent only to PlaidCloud users who opt in themselves. To opt in:
- Sign in to PlaidCloud and open Text alerts from your user menu.
- Enter your U.S. mobile phone number.
- Check the consent box, which presents the disclosures on this page.
- Select Send code, then enter the 6-digit confirmation code we text to that number.
Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. Nobody can enroll your number on your behalf, and workflows cannot text a number that has not been confirmed in this way.
The confirmation message reads: “PlaidCloud: your code is 123456. You’ve opted in to PlaidCloud workflow alerts. Msg & data rates may apply; frequency varies. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.”
Message frequency
Message frequency varies and depends on the workflows that are configured to alert you and how often they run. We limit the number of alerts that can be sent to you each day.

Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier may charge you for messages you send and receive. Contact your carrier for details of your plan. PlaidCloud does not charge you to receive text alerts.
How to opt out (STOP)
Reply STOP to any message to cancel. You will receive a confirmation and no further messages. You can also open Text alerts in PlaidCloud and select Stop text alerts. To start receiving alerts again, reply START or opt in again in PlaidCloud. If a text alert cannot be delivered, we may email you the alert instead.
Help (HELP)
Reply HELP to any message for help, or email support@plaidcloud.com or use our contact form.
Supported carriers and coverage
The Program is available only for mobile numbers in the United States. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier and device and is not guaranteed.
Sensitive information
Do not include protected health information, financial account details, or other sensitive personal data in text alert content. Text messages are not sent over a secure channel, and PlaidCloud does not offer a business associate agreement for text messaging.
Changes
We may update these SMS Terms from time to time and will post the updated version here with a new date. Continued participation in the Program after an update means you accept the changes.
